Syracuse Talks REAL Energy With Students Over Donuts

On Wednesday morning, the Syracuse University CFACT chapter hosted their first recruitment event of the year, in the Schine Student Center atrium. With Dunkin’ Donuts provided, students were thrilled at the opportunity to get some breakfast and talk about the club, on their way to their next class. CFACT sought out students interested in learning more about REAL Energy and to discuss how it can significantly make a difference to their future.

For this upstate New York school in particular, these issues resonated with the students. President of the Syracuse CFACT chapter, James Ward, noted “There is a moratorium on hydraulic fracturing here, and it is hurting our economic prospects. We’re excited for this year because we believe that we can educate students about the importance of these issues and hopefully, then, bring about change.”
