On a calm evening on the very scenic Vassar campus, CFACT’s Rob Harrelson joined Vassar student Julian Hassan in an effort to introduce students to the REAL Energy, Not Green Energy campaign.

Vassar College’s CFACT presence, which has dedicated most of the year to canvassing the campus and recruiting students interested in free-market environmentalism. Tuesday evening continued those efforts, choosing a dining hall during dinner hours.

Between bites of pizza and pasta, Hassan spoke with the students about CFACT’s mission and the goal for the REAL Energy campaign. Many were appreciative of Hassan for taking the time to hand out the postcard-sized literature and speak for a brief moment about these issues growing in importance.

Despite the apparent streak of intolerance and collectivism present on Vassar’s campus, many were very open to learning about what CFACT considers as “real energy.”
