On Wednesday April 6, CFACT UC Riverside passed out 200 Constitutions to fellow Wildcats!
“Most students were thankful to recieve the free Constitution although one declined the document” noted Chapter Chair Kelly Steele.
“Basically the student was angry that the founders didn’t include and/or adhere to the thirteenth amendment from the beginning.” Kelly explained.
He basically said that “The Thirteenth Amendment was redundant in light of the First,” the Chapter Vice Chair Trevor Lievo noted.
“After Kelly reminded the student that the Thirtheenth Amendment was eventually passed and adhered to the student decided to take the document.” Lievo continued.
“The event was very productive and a lot of students promised to read their new Constitution,” said Kelly.
