CFACT UCONN, The Great Global Warming Swindle
On Friday March 18, CFACT UConn gathered to watch The Great Global Warming Swindle by British documentarian Martin Durkin.
Students found the film extremely interesting. “The film was full of facts and numbers that show that global warming is indeed a political and economic swindle,” said UConn CFACT member Stephen Lyon.
“The documentary really highlighted that warming actually preceded the rise in CO2 levels. This is the exact opposite of what we are used to hearing from global warming alarmists,” said Sean Quigly.
In the end the students came away from the event feeling a new sense of urgency about the proposed economic policies of global warming alarmists -policies that are all economic pain, no substantial environmental gain.
