Jay Dauenhauer visits CFACT at UT Austin

Earlier this week CFACT UT hosted Jay Dauenhauer, an industry expert who works for the American Coalition for Clean Coal Electricity (ACCCE) and Texas Carbon Capture and Storage Association (TxCCSA).
The event was a great success; everyone in attendance learned a lot from Jay. CFACT chair Kristin said she learned, “that there are many ways to produce energy and help the environment. It’s more than just using solar and wind energy like everyone in the media says; clean coal and natural gas are also very effecient and environmentally friendly.” After Jay’s presentation, CFACTers understood the importance of maintaining reliable, affordable and environmentally responsible energy sources – and that we cant rely on solar and wind energy as the only source for our growing energy needs.
