Liberty minded students at the University of South Carolina held an interest meeting for CFACT last week for the purpose of adding another group to their arsenal of conservative clubs on campus. Many of the students were also involved in other clubs such as the College Republicans, Turning Point USA, and Young Americans for Liberty. However, some were not involved in any clubs but came to see CFACT’s unique appeal to environmental stewardship and energy advancement. In attendance was CFACT’s Southern Regional Director Graham Beduze who helped bring CFACT’s message to life in the meeting by sharing past accomplishments and CFACT’s emphasis on creating a change on the campus by holding dynamic events. “Many of the students were excited to hear CFACT’s message,” says Graham. “The University of South Carolina like many universities has been infested with the green’s radical message and these students are ready to challenge it.” This meeting will surely not be the last of it’s kind and CFACT is looking to have a permanent chapter there by the end of this year. The University of South Carolina will be a great addition to the strong network of CFACT chapters across the country and will serve as a beacon of liberty in Columbia.
