CFACT visits Valdosta State University!

While on tour in the South this week, CFACT National Field Coordinator Bob Knee made a quick stop to enjoy some delicious burgers alongside CFACT’s friends at Turning Point USA’s Valdosta State University chapter.

Knee has been on tour promoting CFACT’s ‘Capitalism is Sustainable’ campaign. This past week, he spoke at the University of Georgia and University of Central Florida, respectively. While traveling from Athens, GA to Orlando, Knee stopped to reconnect with his good friend Omarr Peters, who is serving as Turning Point’s southern Georgia field representative. He also took the initiative to ask Omarr to arrange for him to meet with some of the Valdosta State students. Omarr and Turning Point happily obliged, and Knee took the opportunity to promote CFACT’s core values to those assembled.

The students were enamored with these ideas, and noted that the left has been domineering in any on-campus discussion concerning the environment. They were very honest and described their desire to promote free-market environmental values to their friends on campus. They may be new to the CFACT world, but they are interested and invested in promoting CFACT’s goal of environmental and economic freedom.
