Hunting is Conservation Education at the Range

CFACT Driessen Fellow Faith Alpaugh helped lead a group of her peers from the University of Wisconsin River Falls on a field trip spotlighting “hunting education.”

Working in Partnership with the Pheasants Forever Club, eight students took a short road trip to Game Unlimited Hunting Club where Victoria gave a talk about the importance of hunting in North America as well as global wildlife conservation. Students were enthralled by the information she was able to provide them. After the talk, the group took time to fire shotguns at clay pigeons being flung in the air to replicate a real life hunting experience.
