Miami students pose with their REAL Energy, Not Green Energy literature.
Dr. Robert Wagner, a member of the Conservative Calvary, spoke to Miami University students about the true science behind global warming and why they shouldn’t believe what they hear from most “alarmist” sources. Centering his talk around a wide-array of graphs, he demonstrated how the environmentalists are using global warming to push for greater government intrusion into people’s lives.
Teaming up with the College Republican chapter and AFP Ohio, the event drew a solid number of students interested in learning more about this pseudo-science and the myths driving much of the mainstream climate conversation.
Dr. Wagner does not only seek to educate students though, as he has consistently called on anyone — professors, students, activists — to debate him on these issues. He says that over the past seven years, not a single professor has stood up to challenge his argument in public.
The students all enjoyed the event and found it very informational. Katey Papin, a senior at Miami, said “I thought it was really interesting that there was so much data there to disprove what the climate change activists say. I’ve always looked at their argument with skepticism, but Dr. Wagner truly reaffirmed my thoughts with facts and strong evidence.”
