CFACT at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona hosted a litter clean up on campus. Farrell Sessler, CFACT’s representative on campus, led the outreach effort and got other students involved.
“I was able to partner with the city and other GCU honors programs to plan a trash pickup on campus, and invite other students to join,” Sessler said. “This is the picture I got, you can see part of the group in the background.”
CFACT frequently hosts such initiatives to show that conservatives and libertarians actually walk the walk of stewardship, unlike many other political or environmental groups that just talk the talk, without actually doing much.
CFACT students do more than just say they care about the environment, they actually do work to make a difference! Look for more great events like this as the Spring semester rolls on.
