CFACT participated as a sponsor at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference. The goal was to spread awareness of the group and to sign-up prospective students for the Collegians program. We successfully completed both tasks. Our group of student leaders from campuses at Georgia Tech, University of Minnesota, Abilene Christian, and University of Arkansas, signed up more than a thousand new members! This year’s theme for CFACT was “Gore vs. Bear”. The idea was for Al Gore to face Polar Bear in a series of competitions to decided once and for all who was right about global warming. The event created a buzz that had some CPAC participants rushing the booth anxiously asking “are there any tickets left for your event?”
