UNC visits local state park!

UNC CFACT recently decided to put together a hiking trip to see what Chapel Hill has to offer by way of natural beauty, accessible right from their backyard. They found a gorgeous area just minutes from campus: The Eno River State Park. Full of hiking trails, tall, lush trees and a peaceful, cascading river; the park was a great reminder of what a gorgeous planet we live on!
Our daily lives are often stressful; class, study sessions, exams, etc, making it easy to become inundated in the bubble of campus life. Taking a few hours out of the week to explore our natural surroundings helps to not only clear our minds, but also to recognize and appreciate our beautiful suroundings. And, more importantly, continue in our efforts with CFACT to make sure we are being good stewards to our planet!
