UCONN Faces off Against PIRG

Students signing up to get involved with CFACT

The University of Connecticut CFACT chapter took to the campus quad on Monday, looking to recruit new students wanting to get involved with the fight for an economically sustainable solution to the growing energy crisis. Equipped with koozies, clipboards, and a sandwich placard, CFACT members met opposition as the campus’ PIRG chapter was out recruiting and spreading misperception on these same issues.

Many students were glad to sign up to get involved with CFACT and the base continued to grow for students wanting to promote a better future. In addition to recruiting students around campus, CFACT members posted REAL Energy literature on bulletin boards, calling on students to visit the website and get involved.

REAL energy is American energy.
