On Friday the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities held their annual Paint the Bridge event. Hundreds of student groups and organizations turned out to paint the Washington Street Bridge, which crosses the Mississippi River. The U of M CFACT Chapter was excited to participate, and painted two panels on the bridge.
In addition to being eye catching, the U of M CFACT Chapter wanted to draw attention to the importance of being involved in helping the environment. Taking personal responsibility for the environment is important, and simply talking about the issue isn’t sufficient when it comes to dealing with the environmental issues facing today’s world.
