The Left tries to paint everyone who does not agree with their radical environmental agenda as “science deniers” or “religious fanatics.”
But from what CFACT saw at the March For Science in Washington D.C., it is the “green” activists who rely on faith in the unseen.
While the organizers of the March For Science claim the march is a gathering to show support for more funding and opportunities in scientific fields for students, it is really just another rally for radical greens trying to restrict American freedoms. When these activists were presented with scientific data from the administration of their own political messiah, President Obama, the marchers still refused to abandon faith in their radical green ideology.
CFACT decided to bring real scientific facts to these marchers, showing them data from President Obama’s Department of Energy in 2016 that hydraulic fracturing (also known as “fracking”) for natural gas has reduced American CO2 emissions more than almost any country that has signed onto the Kyoto or Paris Climate Treaties, including those in the European Union.
To poke fun at how these marchers seem to take themselves too seriously, CFACT’s Adam Houser dressed up as a Frenchman and carried a sign that said:”Pardon my French but…FRACK the Paris Climate Deal!” You can watch that video here:
The marchers touted the typical lines about how fracking is causing flaming faucets and is polluting groundwater. “But what about when President Obama’s EPA declared fracking safe for groundwater in 2015?” Houser asked. The marchers refused to concede the point.
“It is harmful to groundwater,” one marcher doubled down. Another marcher changed the subject and started talking about earthquakes instead.
Even another marcher was adamant that the United States should have stayed in the Paris Climate Deal, despite the data from the DOE that fracking does a better job at reducing CO2 emissions. “And this data from President Obama’s Dept. of Energy does not change your mind?” Houser asked.
After a pause, the woman finally replied, “No.”
Even when presented with scientific data gathered by the radical left’s self-proclaimed messiah, President Obama, these green activists can’t abandon their ideological agenda.
It seems those in the radical left are the ones abandoning science and clinging to faith.
