CFACT is currently creating a new chapter at Duke University in Durham, NC.
This will be an addition to our southeastern region. Last week the regional director and the (inser bills title) spoke with a student on campus. He is very interest and capable in starting a new chapter at duke as soon as possible.
To most people Duke and CFACT don’t necessarily look like they walk in lock step. On paper this is true but there is a large contingent of students on campus who are looking for an alternative organization. One that allows them to think for themselves about energy issues in this country.
Duke and CFACT can mutually benefit each other as the chapter forms over the next few weeks. CFACT gives these students a forum with which to express and share ideas. Dukes high academic standards and proximity to other campuses (University of North Carolina, Wake Forest University, and North Carolina State University) makes it a very attractive addition to our southeastern roster.
