Ron Paul Visits University of Minnesota

On Monday, April 6th Collegians For A Constructive Tomorrow collaborated with Young Americans for Liberty, and Students for a Conservative Voice to bring Dr. Ron Paul to the University of Minnesota.  The students worked hard on this event, tirelessly getting the word out to both other U of M students and to people across the state of Minnesota and beyond.

People came from as far away as Iowa to hear Dr. Paul speak, and many Ron Paul fans were thrilled with the CFACT students’ hard work.  One attendee said “it is awesome to see young people engaged in politics, especially since they brought in such an awesome speaker.”

Before the speech began, students from all three groups had the opportunity to share what their groups were about. Many of the guests were impressed by CFACT’s conservative, free-market based approach to protecting the environment. Some even said CFACT is the first environmental group they actually agree with.

Over 750 people turned out to listen to Dr. Paul speak about the “Future of Freedom,” filling the Ted Mann Concert Hall at the University of Minnesota. It was a great event, and one that CFACT was happy to have played such a key role in.
